One of our current residential projects, this 10 bedroom home in the Fox Chapel area of Pittsburgh is Energy Star Certified and has a HERS score of 50, which means it will use approximately half of the energy of a home built to current energy code requirements. Energy efficient measures that were worked into the design include: high efficiency windows, spray foam Icynene insulation, 100% under-slab insulation, and high efficiency ground coupled HVAC system.
